The Governing Council of the Private Enterprise Foundation (PEF) has appointed Nana Osei-Bonsu as the Director-General of the Organisation effective July 1, 2011.
Nana studied at Saint Francis College of Brooklyn, in the USA for his first degree in Economics in 1977 and followed up at Fordham University Graduate Arts and Sciences with graduate studies in International Finance.
Nana had an extensive banking career in the USA, starting at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 1972 and later joining the New York State Banking Department as a Bank Examiner in 1977. After becoming a Senior Examiner he moved to the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York in 1982 and later joined Equitable Capital Management Corporation in 1987 as an Investment Accountant where he also earned his Series 7 and 63 licenses as a Securities Broker/Dealer. In 1997, Nana became the Managing Partner of a private investment firm, Manoff Associates of New York, before moving to JP Morgan Chase as an Investment Banker. Learn read
